Environment
 | ENVIRONMENTHere we promote some initiatives and petitions related to environment. Consumption ReductionUnderlying to the consumption of goods and services, there is the transportation and recycling need. With the current technology, both transportation and recycling impacts environment.
It's simple to understand that the simplest way to help environment is by reducing all superfluous consumption. Or to adopt a more sustainable consumption pattern. Some Simple Recomendations: - Turn of lights when not used
- Prefer energy saving lights (CFL or LEDs)
- Prefer energy efficient appliances (starting with the fridge)
- Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth and take shower instead of bath
- Sometimes use the stairs instead of the lift (with wealth benefits)
- Walk or cycle when you can - instead of driving your car (with wealth benefits)
- Buy fruits and vegetables that are in season and from your local region (less transportation)

Social Responsability
| SOCIAL RESPONSABILITYHere we promote some initiatives and petitions related to social responsability. Every Human Has Rights launched as a campaign to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights in 2008 by the Elders. The year saw the beginnings of a revival of awareness of the Declaration and it’s principles, which still hold strong today. It's time for a global awareness about human rights and the core values that unite us as a human family.
It's also the time for each of us to practice and promote human rights in our lives, individually or collectively.Be envolved and participate!
Solar One as a social responsible organization considers both the community where it's located and the environmental context in all its decisions. We truly believe that organizations, that act as major drivers of economic, technological and human development, can only be fully realized whenever their activity respects both human rights and the environment. Our practice in this domain have been to reduce waste by the reduction of paper use, waste separation, recycling of toners, and adopting carbon offset but above all an attitude of respect toward people, life and the environment around us. |

Fight Against Poverty
 | POVERTYHere we promote some initiatives and petitions related to fight against poverty. ONE is an organization supported by more than two million individuals across the globe that are committed to fight against extreme poverty and preventable diseases, particularly in Africa. Founded by Bono, Bobby Shriver and others, supported by Bob Geldof and other activists, the organization ONE works with everyone to mobilize public opinion in actively support and initiatives that are showing results: protecting families in AIDS and malaria prevention, putting children in school by providing economic opportunities and establishing communities. At ONE, we believe that fighting poverty is not charity but a matter of justice and equality. We honor to belong to a broader movement of persons and organizations fighting to end poverty worldwide.
